Yesterday my grandma sent me this text:⁣ ⁣ “Lands End catalog just arrived and as I breezed through it there you were!! So excited and couldn’t wait to show Grandpa. You’re on three pages!”⁣ ⁣ 🥹😭⁣ ⁣ This was never the job I dreamed of as a kid. It wasn’t what I went to school for or what I started out doing after college. Collin has led the charge on our whole business & a few years ago I decided to go along for the ride. And man, what a ride it’s been. There have been so many times that I would look at other photographers who had big name clients & get discouraged, thinking there was no way that would ever be us. But I’m so dang proud of us for never giving up. Life has thrown a ton of curve balls - we’ve experienced the lowest of lows that almost led to taking “normal” jobs last year. But we kept fighting for what we loved, even when it seemed crazy to everyone else. I don’t share this to toot my own horn, but rather to say that success sometimes comes as a result of having your back against the wall and fighting for something you strongly believe in, no matter what. At least it’s been that way for us. And if you’re in the trenches, whether in business or something else, keep going!
