HOW DO YOU DRINK YOUR WATER 😂? Actually in all seriousness ayurveda really taught me how much of a difference the way you drink your water can have on your overall health...SO HERES the 101 crash course on how to do it right....
1. Warm or hot water - warm or hot water actually has the ability to absorb deeper into your tissues and cleanses and detox's your body . Cold water can also dampen your digestion.
2. Sitting down to drink
Standing and drinking disrupts the balance of body fluids..you may accumulate unwanted excess fluid in your body
3. Drink slowly. Take small sips throughout the day.
4. Drink warm water in the morning. It helps flush toxins accumulated overnight and cleanses your digestive tract ready for the day!
5. Drink large amounts of water atleast an hour before and after meal times. Too much water near meal times can dilute the digestive acids and mess with proper digestion of foods.
6. If you must drink then sip on a maximum of 1/2 cup during your meal
