The many faces... We all hold so many faces, so many ways of being, embodying and expressing our selves. Some make the stage of life more often than others. Some are kept very private. Some don't get to play at all. After 3 months of travel I am back in LA for a few weeks. Considering all the faces I've worn and the faces I have seen. The journey began by a trip north to see my mentor and teacher @michellesinnette before the greater departure. Landing in Tulum for Sun Dream - nurturing connections and forging new ones - through San Miguel de Allende for SoulCraft with @catlafey and then onwards to Real de Catorce to welcome my 33rd birthday together with some of my closest brothers in one of the most sacred places to my heart. Then based from Mexico City, things started to shape up. A new collection for EKAM is underway, finally sharing more of my work on this platform, and reimagining how I create. Honouring my cycles and those of my surroundings. Eventually, it was time to return to Zion. It has rarely been "easy" to do the right thing and the prep for the trip was its own saga. I made it to the Mens Immersion with @eliburen - to that valley that becomes a Dojo for our own becoming. Familiar faces, new faces. Revisiting the person I become when faced with challenge and adversity, taking in the reflection of my brothers in their practice. What if I wore some of those faces outside this sacred valley? --- Break for a second... and back to vegas. Thank you @ry_sells for the incredible hospitality and dream rides to be back in the matrix. And then a comical series of obstructions to return to the valley Not alone but with my partner @Cat And into a new container. Held and guided by @alexandraroxo @eliburen corralled by @stephiejane and myself. (corralled is the right word here) Ufff more on that later. and back out into the world for the wedding of @hannnnahbananananaa and @woodson_swift and reconnecting with dearest friends from high school. and finally.. back to LA Sitting with very similar reflections as last year. What has changed? What remains?
