Take a look at GIA field gemologist, @wimvertriest, as he collects samples of demantoid garnet at @prosperityearthus. GIA established a field gemology program over 15 years ago to support research on geographic origin determination of colored gemstones. To date, we have completed more than 95 field expeditions on six continents and collected more than 22,000 samples.
