Join us this Saturday, April 30th for a Monologue Acting Workshop with Acting Coach @chantaljean_pierre . During this workshop, you will learn about acting techniques that free your creativity. Chantal will critique four pre-selected monologue performances, the discussion will be followed by a brief Q & A. Monologues must be selected from published plays and cannot be longer than 2 minutes. Monologues are selected on a first come, first serve basis. Chantal Jean-Pierre is a seasoned actress of stage and screen with over 2 decades of experience in a wide range of roles from the classics to contemporary. Chantal obtained a BFA in Acting from Florida International University and an MFA in Acting at Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts studying with Bill Esper and Maggie Flannigan. In addition, she has deftly managed collegiate teaching and professional coaching, while pursuing her reverence for the dramatic arts professionally. She has performed at numerous theaters in New York, regionally and abroad in the continent of Africa. She has performed in New York episodic television, independent films, and commercials. Chantal has taught at many notable theater arts programs including Rutgers University (MGSA), SUNY/Purchase, Brown Trinity, and Howard University.
