Mônot AW '22 MÔNOT Fall/Winter 2022 expression lives between the then and the now. Nonlinear, the vision is one of serendipitous spirals and yet perfect succinctness—a reconciliation of time-honored codes of women's ready-to-wear and the progressiveness luster of today. Emblematic of his own cross-Atlantic upbringing, Artistic Director Eli Mizrahi imagined the collection whilst across three capitals, New York, Paris, and Beirut, with the femme fatales of each timezone—along with the nostalgic fantasy of Demi Moore in Indecent Proposal—persuading key facets of the MÔNOT woman. Elegant yet daring. Sophisticated but bold graphic. Modern and timeless. Reflecting this coalescence, the season runway collection introduces familiar ensembles and silhouettes—the little black dress, the three piece suit, modern interpretations of occasion-wear for the feline form with a contemporary focus on powerful femininity and design-forward interpretations. Of course, tailoring is of particular significance to remain true to the MÔNOT ethos and DNA. Expertly clasped to the human form, every detail is considered and perfected. It's a nuanced evolution of the codes of the house and a seductive ponderance of eternal style.
