Awan is Loading...7.27 ☁️ 032 BLUE CORN TORTILLA 🌽 Today we’re dropping one of our most beloved flavors that was recently featured by our friends @kcrw . The inspiration for this flavor came from a burnt sourdough recipe Zen used to make at a previous restaurant. After meeting Sherry @tehachapigrainproject and trying her excellent blue corn tortillas, it made sense to use these for a GF version. Coincidentally Tohm, who is Mexican, grew up eating helado de maiz so this flavor really hit home. What’s neat about blue corn is that it has more protein and less starch than traditional white tortilla. When combined we find a smooth and rich body enhanced by the aromatic sweetness of Balinese vanilla. This is a limited release, available now on our dropstore and the window. We hope you enjoy 🍦
