🎙️ Magnum @ 75 / Ernest Cole at @bop_bristol on October 8⁠ ⁠ As part of the collective's 75th anniversary activities, Hamish Crooks, Magnum’s former Global Licensing Director, and Mark Sanders, Special Advisor to the Ernest Cole Family Trust, will discuss South African photographer Ernest Cole’s seminal publication 'House of Bondage' at BOP Bristol, the annual photobook festival from @martinparrfdn and @royalphotographicsociety. ⁠ ⁠ 'House Of Bondage' – the first photographic book by a black South African – was published in 1967 and brought the daily realities, humiliations and horrors of apartheid to the outside world for the first time.
