Istituto Marangoni London is proud to announce that 2019 styling course alumna Julie Liu has been selected by the #BritishFashionCouncil as one of the top 50 global "New Wave: Creatives 2022”. Chinese-Canadian born Julie Liu is a London based stylist and art director. She first stepped foot into the industry at age 17, working at her mother’s hairdresser’s beauty and photography studio. Still learning to fully embrace her third-culture identity, she looks to story-tell to the world with a sense of romanticism, power, and a pinch of humour. Liu has worked with magazines and brands such as Vogue Ukraine, Document Journal, and Uniqlo.
