Recently, we took the leap and purchased a shiny new Noritsu HS-1800 scanner! Our beloved Fuji frontier SP-3000 has served us well for almost two years now but instead of replacing it for the Noritsu, we are now offering the option of either one to our customers. Fuji or Noritsu? Now you can decide! Simply select it in our scanner preference drop down box if you're ordering online. If you're ordering via our invoicing system, let us know which scanner you would like in an email. When you swipe on this post, you'll see some comparisons between the two scanners. The Nortisu tends to scan images a bit flatter than the Fuji, and favours reds compared to the Fuji favouring greens. As well as a colour and contrast difference, we now offer super tiff 16 bit scans on our Noritsu incase you want that extra file and print equivalent size (please note that this is only available by our invoicing system).
