Fire/Life Update: Still looking for housing. It’s so sad how people would try and profit off us. Once they find out we had a fire and the insurance is paying they increase the rent because they know they can get the max amount from the insurance. 😒 Today we are starting the process to clean out the house. I’m not ready to face my poor books, but I have to get it done. My mom and I have made friends with some of the longer term hotel guests so it’s nice to know we aren’t alone. I’ve invested in a mini toaster oven, rice cooker and sauté pan (thanks Heather for the suggestion) so I’m happy to start cooking meals in my room again.
