Off-White c/o Virgil AblohTM ~ "FIGURES OF SPEECH", Brooklyn Museum The "FIGURES OF SPEECH" exhibition spans two decades of multidisciplinary work by Virgil Abloh, showcasing materials from his multiple collaborations, labels and projects. The exhibition traces Abloh’s exploration of the communicative power of design and his use of the Black gaze to dismantle established structures. Released alongside the exhibition, the "FIGURES OF SPEECH" collection includes a couture selection of garments featuring checkered patterns, exhibition details and a “manifesto” of Virgil’s work over the years. The rest of the capsule is made up of bags revisited with printed patterns and new detailing, iconic vintage-feel jerseys and sweatshirts with spray-effect graphics and a tabletop flip clock, which best represents the inspiration behind the collection, reminding us of the evolution inherent to every single moment. The "FIGURES OF SPEECH" collection is exclusively available from the Off-WhiteTM New York and Paris Castiglione stores as well as the Brooklyn Museum Gift Shop from today and from their online store tomorrow.
