Every couple of months, we find ourselves in wine-growing country in Mexico- in Valle de Guadalupe @valledeguadalupetourism We’ve been going for over a decade and it is one of my top three spots in the world to visit. Best Wine, Best Food. Best Life.. And it is only a FOUR hour drive from LA, that’s it. A huge thank you to @santulanbaja for hosting us over the years. It’s my favorite place to stay for so many reasons Super modern rooms but has a spiritual vibe to it (mediation and yoga rooms) The breakfasts and views are INSANITY. And this is lame, but the AC and heating system work impeccably (I’m always freezing so this is my only real requirement) Places to eat: @deckmansenelmogor : this place has everything the Valle is known for: its views, the food and wine. The outdoor, busling kitchen is the central feature and it’s heaven. Deckmans gets super busy so book way in advance. @datoniensenada : some of the best Italian meals I’ve had in my life. They don’t take reservations but go there early. @animalonbaja : built around a 200 year old oak tree, the chef’s menu will make you start looking for a house to buy in the Valle (i had the vege menu) @boulesensenada : in Ensenada, Boules does Baja food like no other. And a great wine shop is attached. @troikavalle : Food truck but OMG. @brumavinicola - go to their restaurants @faunarestaurante and/or @brumawinegarden . Don’t miss eating here. Bruma has one of the most beautiful vineyards in Valle and although I’ve never stayed here, I’m dying to. The architecture is breathtaking. But the food and wine at Bruma are the best of Valle. @faltozano_valle -another gem. Here are some photos taken over the years of this paradise.
