We lost our dear friend, Joe Chambers last Wednesday. Through his @musicianshalloffame, Joe was a fervant custodian of the great legacy of the people, and instruments, that brought us all the great American music that we’ve come to know and love. Joe was a big supporter of yours truly as well. He actually sold me my very first guitar way way back when I was just getting started. He and I had actually been texting back and forth right up until just a few days before he passed. Joe was truly a one of a kind, incredible soul, and one we will miss for a very long time❤️🙏🏼 Repost from @musicianshalloffame It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Joe Chambers, Founder and CEO of the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum. Joe passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends on September 28, 2022, at Vanderbilt University Hospital ICU in Nashville, TN. The Museum was Joe's passion and joy. During his entire illness, he could not stop talking about how thankful he was for all those who visited the Museum, watched the Museum's YouTube channel, or supported the Museum in any way. He was so thankful for all of you. A celebration of life will be forthcoming.
