THE AFRO DENIM PROJECT In this body of work, fashion in denim meets melanin. This pieces highlight dress and gender performance. Youthfulness is also portrayed in this series. A blend of youthful poise, love, retro styling, intimacy and in general, striking fashion. Over a space of months, I and everyone involved created an 18ft backdrop from "no longer in use" denims and shot pieces that would go on to be applauded.
