In some senses, sexual experience is not different from self-sacrifice; it is destructive and transcends mortality.” Alongside 2 other works by Siqi, Tentacles and Ropes, the nude is not shown in its entirety. Instead, parts of the body are shown, transcending its significance and taking note of the tension between fantasy and reality.
