Life update. Finished the First Day Out edition donation to Cincinnati’s chapter of the bail project totaling just over half a million dollars going to Hamilton county where just a year ago I couldn’t pay bail for my own freedom. This will help free countless people for years to come, nobody should be imprisoned simply because they are poor or don’t have money. Thank you to the entire team that made this drop/initiative possible and worked countless hours on the logistics. Thank you to the Cincinnati Enquirer for covering my story from start to finish, although I am far from done with the change I will see through in my home city. Been taking life largely back to the basics lately, more shooting, more traveling, more writing (obsessing over this book) and enjoying time with family, friends and my partner. My two closest friends from the inside are out now and I feel like a part of me has healed from that. We’re just quietly building and moving forward brick by brick. I’ve craved the quiet intimacy of these things more and more as life has changed for me. To move forward there always needs to be frequent steps back to reorient with the bigger picture and vision. There’s been a bigger focus on not letting any level of change in my life corrupt the roots of what I’ve always been building and taking every step with love and intention. On the note of looking forward, there’s some exciting things ahead I can’t wait to share with you all. I’ll be releasing some of my first film work, more writing and working on some really big projects that you all have asked about very often (doc etc...)
