HoMA barista Amira Eisa grew up around coffee. “My dad's from Egypt,” she said, “and in our culture, what you typically do after a meal is drink tea or coffee. Even as a kid, I would drink really milky tea or coffee just for the taste and to be a part of that ritual.” ⁠ ⁠ Nestled in the museum’s shaded Palm Courtyard, the Coffee Bar is an ideal spot to take a break between gallery visits. Try a coffee drink from the new La Marzocco espresso machine or cool down with a cold brew, tea, Italian soda, beer, wine, or grab-and-go food item. ⁠ ⁠ The Coffee Bar is open Thursdays and Sundays from 10am to 5:30pm, and Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 8:30pm.
