It’s hard to believe summer is in the rear view mirror. It feels like we were just celebrating getting back on snow free roads & now here we are gearing up for another winter. These next few weeks are kind of a holding pattern for us - our fall photography season is over, the trees are becoming bare & it’s a waiting game on when the snow will fly. Last night we engineered + installed our “winter water system” (I’ll be sharing more on that soon), we’ve been stockpiling firewood and are working on filling air gaps in the Airstream to better insulate the cabin. Streamy will be on the road for another 3-4 weeks before we lock into our winter spot for the long haul. It’s exciting & a little scary - you just ever know what Alaska weather will do which is what makes living here fun!
