Nacific Origin Red Salicylic Acid Set Thank you @go.picky @pickyrewards and @nacific_official @nacific_kr for giving me the chance to try and review this lovely skincare set! New product but old concept. These products have some active ingredients but they are not really effective. It claims and advertises that the product contains “salicylic acid,” so I assume that SA is the main ingredient. However, the toner and cream only have 1ppm, which is 0.0001%. The serum has 1000ppm (0.1%) but it is a wash-off type product. These products also have AHA (lactic acid) but probably not working. The toner’s texture is a bit thicker than “watery” toner but more liquid than a lotion. It absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves the skin feeling soft hydrated. It contains some hydrating and calming ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, Centella, panthenol, and madecassoside. I think it does its job well as a toner. It does not “wow” me but it is okay for gently soothing and hydrating. This serum is interesting because it is a wash-off type serum. As I read on their website, you just need to apply it on your face, then wash off with “lukewarm” water (to wipe away residue on the skin surface). I am wondering if there is any left to absorb on the skin after washing it off? I did not notice any changes on my skin after using this (too low concentration of salicylic 0.1%). The serum is kinda the same as the toner but a little bit thicker, and that’s it. Exfoliating and clarifying? I don't see that but maybe it works for people with extremely sensitive skin or beginners to active ingredients. The spot cream surprisingly reduces the redness of pimples on my skin (even the ingredient list is just the same as toner and serum). It has a gel-cream texture. I apply it as a spot treatment cream (just put a small amount on one specific area). After one night, I can see that the acne bump has a significant reduction in redness (but not really helpful in drying out the pimples and shrinking the zits). They all have the same scent like “fake” rose scent or “chemical rose” and I don’t like it (it does not last long). Overall, it’s ok but not my favorite.
