WE HAVE A STREAMING PLATFORM We have been secretly working on a video channel all year and it’s just launched with over 300 films available to rent. We wanted it to be part indie cinema, part film archive, and part Blockbuster on a Friday night. Everything is handpicked by us, and includes all we love - independent cinema, documentaries, stoner comedies, A24, films about movies, films shot by Sean Price Williams, teen dramas, 4K restorations and films with Steve Buscemi. This is by far our biggest project yet. We’ve spent 10 months designing the site from scratch and even longer sourcing films. We've been reaching out to all our directors friends for favours, cold calling distributors, digitising VHS tapes, adding subtitles to films, making our own posters, and even tracked down an eighty year old director living on a farm in the Swedish wilds who made amazing documentaries about Lars Von Trier and Dogme 95. In the spirit of Deeper Into Movies, many of the titles are licensed through the filmmakers themselves, who will directly receive the profits from their films. We will be adding more to the site regularly, including directors’ seasons, new releases and short films while continuing to hunt down under-seen gems.
