my favorite pole moves after one month of training! 💕
some info: I never pole danced before besides just playing around... I then took a beginner class with @nicolethepole and decided that I actually do want to take it seriously not only for skill but for fitness too.
I started with no upper body strength (I could barely do a push-up! lol) So don’t think that you need to be super strong to start.
I use a silicone grip pole instead of a metal pole that you typically see.. it’s easier to hold onto without sliding and you can also wear clothes on it which you can’t do with a metal pole. I also got my pole from @nicolethepole
Lastly, I use the fit2flaunt app to learn technical moves, flexibility and conditioning exercises as well as watch tiktoks to study how dancers put the moves together and learn new flows! I practice about 3-4 times a week.
