(Two of the artists I already knew) These 11 living women artists were part of a total of 19 women artists (living and not) present in two galleries with works by a total of 85 artists. That is, 22% of the work in those two galleries were by women. This is not meant to be an statistical review or comment on the museum’s collection. Just an empirical observation. I love @crockerart, and I commend them for their extensive collection and how didactic their labels are 📝 Not to be missed when visiting Sacramento, CA. #livingwomenartists, #crockerartmuseum, #sacramentoca, #sacramentocalifornia, #womenartists, #artmuseum, #museumcollection, #artmuseumcollection, #artinsacramento, #artincalifornia, #artseen365
