On cloud nine!! I have never felt how I did last night before performing. There was a sense of occasion like no other and impossible not to feel the magnitude of it all. Knowing that my cue to begin was when the Queen’s voiceover began was a first!!! So wonderful to share this all with @reececlarke_ shortly after his wonderful promotion to Principal Dancer. It was indeed a very ‘jam-packed’ 3 minutes. With music from and conducted by @hanszimmer An introduction by Sir Dvid Attenborough. The @royalballetschool performing in front of the Palace which had spine tingling projections across it as we performed under the ‘Tree of Trees’ by @officialheatherwickstudio Costumes by oliviapomp and our choreography was by Kristen McNally and overseen by Kevin O’Hare and Samira Saidi. HMU by @naradkutowaroo and @gemflossi 🦋🇬🇧❤️🌍🙏🏻 Here is most of our piece filmed by our director Kevin O’Hare, I would love to get a copy from the BBC camera to keep! I showed Peggy this morning and she was pointing at it saying ‘mama mama’ and I felt so proud to be a part of sharing this important message to the next generation. “Our future of all life on earth depends on how we behave towards one another, and how we treat the plants and animals that share our world with us We share the world as human beings all of us and together as the nations of the world will leave it to our children and our children’s children, we must be kind to it for their sake”.
