Let’s not forget to use what we already have. Our own bodyweight! Strength isn't always about how much weight you can lift. It goes much deeper than that. Some people find bodyweight movements harder than weighted exercises. So it could be a good idea to attempt to master your own bodyweight first, before adding additional weight. For example, training ground-based locomotion, or strength and mobility exercises (with control and correct form) will give you an ever greater strength, creating strong and mobile joints and tendons (which hold everything together by the way πŸ˜‰) Bodyweight training is designed to work and move our joints and muscles as they naturally should, this is partly why calisthenics is a popular choice for building greater strength and power than weightlifting alone!
