Nothing lost, only gained. ❤️‍🔥 I’m smiling so big as I write this. The day I got the call that I booked QAF I had woken up to a bank balance of $0. Never in my adult life had I not had a single cent to my name. I legitimately had nothing except a lot of bills, hope and the knowing that I was an artist who survived a global pandemic. I had no concept of what tomorrow would bring and I certainly didn’t have the understanding or answers to all of my questions of “Why?” ...and then my phone rang and everything changed... 😍❤️ Flash forward A year later with a full bank account having been a series lead of a show that was beautiful, magical, funny, heartwarming, electric and important. Having fallen in LOVE with a new city (New Orleans) and the beautiful people that had filled it! Having been on billboards in time square, press tours and tv screens. Having worked with absolute LEGENDS!! And having gained the most beautiful family that will both inspire and drag me! Haha! So proud of what we all created together.✨ ...and then my phone rang and everything changed... “Canceled...why?...” 💔 ...Today I still may not know the exact “why” (I’m sure a lot of you have your opinions but opinions are like butt holes everyone’s got one🤷🏾‍♂️) and I definitely don’t know what tomorrow will bring. What I do know is that I was given the gift of a lifetime with Brodie. I also know that one day soon for ALL the people who worked tirelessly on this show both in front of and behind the screen... THE PHONE WILL RING... and everything will change. ❤️‍🔥 Nothing lost, only gained. Ps- I’ll miss getting to be your Brodie.
