As Fashion Week starts in Paris, it is a bitter feeling to have to keep moving forward while so many people are enduring untold horrors in the fight to ensure their freedom 🇦🇫🇺🇦🇬🇪. Trying to see some kind of light in this terrible darkness, I am at least heartened by the ability of people to create a sense of solidarity in a connected world, and for those suffering to know that they are not alone in their struggle. I have been closely following the journeys of Volodymyr Zelensky (@zelenskiy_official) and Salomé Zourabichvili (@salome_zourabichvili) on social media, two enormously inspiring people who are bravely attempting to bring some sense and solution to this deeply distressing scenario. We in the western world are blessed with a say in the choice of our leaders - what should be a basic right seems increasingly to be a privilege, and something that we must never take for granted. © @toureiffelofficielle
