Lets talk SKINIMALISM! If you were to simplify your skincare routine down to a minimum (which I have always recommended), what would most derms recommend to you?
1. SUNSCREEN (morning)
2. RETINOID (evening)
The video explains the benefits, and tips on how much to apply.
I usually pick SPFs that are also moisturizing so that I don’t have to use those separately. A tint is an added benefit for me, as I like to have a bit of coverage and a glow. My favorite tinted moisturizing sunscreen is @alumiermdusa Sheer Hydration. This can only be ordered through a doctor, I will include a link in today’s story that gives you all access to it, and this can also always be accessed from my LINK IN BIO. Including the link here, too: https://www.alumiermd.com/products/sheer-hydration-broad-spectrum-suncreen-spf-40-versatile-tint?code=F25GKCKT
My prescription retinoid also is in a moisturizing base with hyaluronic acid (@skinmedicinals ), so I don’t always need a moisturizer in the evening (sometimes I do in the wintertime when the skin is drier). If you are a retinoid beginner, I do recommend moisturizing well (see my previous post on details on how to layer these).
Happy skin care!
