When Taylor and I decamped to the desert for a month in January 2021 it turned out @danjohnanderson & @gveeve lived right down the road. We were so thankful for our temporary neighbors who showed us around trails less traveled and suggested we clip some creosote from the wash outside and put it in the shower—the plant’s amazing aroma is activated by moisture.
