I am no candy connoisseur, in fact the only candy I usually eat are Nerd Clusters and chocolate lol. But I was very intrigued by the Swedish candy hype and specifically this small candy shop that just opened up in the West Village and went viral. It’s really small so expect to be overwhelmed when you are getting your candy but it was cute and a fun little activity for myself haha. What I really liked about this store is how all their candy is sourced from different countries. Didn’t do a deep dive taste test here but I will on TikTok. I just needed to try one of the bubs. I’ve heard about these for way too long, so finally. At first I wasn’t impressed but I will say as I kept chewing they got increasingly more addicting lol. The texture is good. They weren’t stale which I am glad because I can see how these Swedish candies can get stale quickly. The strawberry flavor is subtle but 👍. Can’t wait to try all the rest!
