Today we took our oldest son @luc_alg to the @magiccastlehollywood to celebrate his 22nd birthday! It wasn’t with the entire family given some kids live in different cities now (one in another country even!) and the Magic Castle is a 21 year and older establishment. Aside from a spectacular, mind blowing show in the Palace of Mystery—it was great to enjoy a lovely meal and talk to him about his passions; namely, acting, creating comics, music, games and fashion. He’s at an amazing age—just out of college where life’s possibilities seem endless, finally in view and tantalizingly within reach. It was around the same time that I realized I myself didn’t want to go to medical school but instead, try my hand at drawing comic books. None of his passions may become his vocation, but I’m excited for him to as he begins his own journey, finding the belief, courage and fortitude to push himself beyond his own expectations and in the process discover his life’s purpose. For what it’s worth—we believe in you Lucas and will love and support (moral, not financial ;)) all along the way! Wishing you a great birthday week 🖤🖤🖤
