5 things to know before booking your bridal hair
(& makeup)
1️⃣ Expect an early wedding morning start time. ☕️ Think 7 / 8 am. The larger the party, the earlier the start time. Quality beauty services take time. ☺️
2️⃣ Many bridal suites don’t open until 9 or 10am. Make sure to check with your venue about the start time and take into account the timing of your beauty services. Definitely consider a spacious hotel suite or beautiful air bnb as a substitute.
3️⃣ Trials, or as I like to call, your bridal hair preview appointments aren’t provided prior to booking. This is because we can’t guarantee availability for your wedding date.
📆 Dates fill fast and often 12-18 months in advance. Only a signed contract and deposit secure the date
4️⃣ On-site & bridal beauty services cost what they do because they are luxury services.
There is open communication for months leading up to your day. They literally bring their studio to you morning of the wedding, and often not in the most ideal work spaces. Some gift you and your party with little touch up kits. They have lots of experience and education in the bridal hair world... which leads me to 👇🏼
5️⃣ Your hair colorist may be amazing at what she does, but most likely her specialty isn’t bridal hair.
•Color/cut and bridal hair styling are two totally different worlds. 🌎
Be sure that you find a stylist who understands your vision and gives you confidence in their ability to execute a look you’ll love. After all, you’ll look back on for your wedding pictures for years to come!
