Read more 👇🏼 how I healed my bloat! 1️⃣ Cut out all processed food & fitness supplements reduce inflammation and everything that’s unnatural & upsetting for my gut. (Started with 4 weeks but this is something I’ll try to keep doing forever. 80/20 at least. I still eat carbs (sugar), fats & ofc protein but better from better sources. 2️⃣ Add enzymes + probiotics (read more further down) 3️⃣ Started to eat with more variety, especially greens and fruit to get more enzymes. Eating chicken/rice/broccoli which I though was ‘fitness’ back in the days did absolutely nothing for my health. 4️⃣ No caffeine before breakfast as it increases the production of stomach acid and this can upset your gut if it’s empty. 5️⃣ Decreased my training days from 6-7 to 3-5 to lower my stress levels. Now I enjoy my workouts instead of just stressing through them. 🪄 What are enzymes? They’re magical! And we can’t live without them. Our bodies produces trillions of enzymes but as we age (starting from puberty) the enzyme production reduces up to 13% every 10th year. There’s many different enzymes and they do everything from helping with digestion, producing hormones, controlling our pH-levels, repair tissue, fights deceases and much more! By eating the right food we can help our bodies getting more enzymes. The preparation however can destroy the enzyme activity (such as heating over 48c) Also, as soon as you pick the fruit/veggie from its plant the enzymes starts to deactivate. This is something you should take into consideration if you use green powders for example - make sure it’s freeze dried immediately after being harvest to preserve the enzyme activity. Because of the thousands of different enzymes found in different foods, eating with variety is crucial. Therefore I try to eat different salads/fruits daily instead of sticking to one, broccoli - that I used to do haha. Right now I supplement with the digestive enzymes: * Protease - breaks down protein * Lipase - breaks down fats * Amylase - breaks down carbs * Lactase – breaks down lactose * Sucrase – breaks down sugar Continues in comments... 🫶🏼
