First reported in the @WSJ, “the deal could create the nation’s largest Black-owned and licensed cannabis company.” Diddy says he intends to use the business venture as a platform to address the racial inequities within the cannabis industry (Black and brown folks, by and large, have been disproportionately arrested/convicted for marijuana crimes; however, they comprise a very little percentage of the legal cannabis industry).
