Today I share with you an incredible and unbelievable story. For weeks I have been working on a new exhibition in my first own photo gallery in the middle of the village of Appenzell. We open our doors next Friday and in addition to my new pictures of the Alpstein and my new book Der Alpstein, I have also in collaboration with one of the most renowned photographers Emil Grubenmann from Appenzell an exhibition Erarbeitet. Last Saturday the works of this exhibition were finished. Everything is ready for the big vernissage. Last Sunday morning Emil was sanding the last AluDibond plates. At noon his heart stopped beating and he fell asleep and started his journey into the other world. Dear Emil. We will make the exhibition as you wished. How we digitized negatives together for days in the basement. You will live on in our hearts. We miss you and I will carry on your work for the next years! RIP Emil!
