THIS MOMENT RIGHT HERE! Still trying to process the whole night but this moment had had me on a high since it happened. I'll do another THANK YOU post tomorrow but let me just tell you how much this moment meant to me. From the first time I played the first Blackstreet album, I was hooked. They were & still are, my fave 90s r&b group. I've listened to the first 2 Blackstreet albums relentlessly (& still do). It was always a dream of mine to get them to perform at my party. It took a long time to make happen but it finally did. All the stars aligned. My BIG birthday. My fave party to do, which just happens to be an all 90s r&b/Hip Hop party. My fave group. To top it all off, my fave song from Blackstreet has always been "U Blow My Mind" (minus the rap lol) @chaunceyblack_of_blackstreet knew that this was my fave joint & right before they were going to perform it, he called me out on stage. Then he made the crowd sing Happy Birthday to me, along with the group. Then they went into U Blow My Mind. What a moment. I've had a few great moments in my career but this one really made me emotional. I felt like I've made it. Yes I've felt that before but THIS MOMENT really got me emotional. Like I said, I'll post lots of pics/vids this week but I had to get this out of my system. ♥️
