ANNOUNCEMENT: Our inspiring Youth Activists Janice & Iremide will be taking over our Instagram stories and Twitter on Monday 19th September!​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ They’ll be sharing their experiences as they push to amplify young people’s voices around climate action at the 2022 Asia Pacific Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in Brisbane. ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Janice has a passion for the role of race and gender in societal structures, which are perpetuated in disaster response actions. She hopes to see more investment into youth organisations.​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Iremide has found a passion in food system security through her work with a grassroots organisation and believes that children and youth are the first to be affected by disasters.
