The worries of motherhood don’t begin when your child starts school, or on their first day at daycare. They don’t start when they take their first steps, begin solids, or even when you’re checking if they’re still breathing through the night. They begin the moment you find out you’re pregnant. And for us mums, those worries never really stop. They evolve, they shift—but they stay with us for life. Just ask your own mum or grandmother. Chances are, they’re still wondering: Are we happy? Are we managing financially? Are we being treated well? Are our kids growing into kind, respectful people? The list goes on. And while these worries can sometimes feel overwhelming, they don’t define us. They don’t diminish our strength, or our capacity to love, nurture, and show up—again and again—as the incredible mothers we are ❤️🫶🏼
