I always make it a point to give my hair a protein treatment after unbraiding. What with it being without nutrients for about four months 😬 The shea moisture protein treatment got the job done this time. -I make sure to apply from ends to roots, braid and cover it with a plastic cap to really soak in ☺️ -let it sit for about 30-40 mins). -Applying heat over the plastic cap helps the nutrients sink in better. A hair dryer works fine When hair products are not in the budget, I usually mix avocado, an egg and some olive oil. Works wonderfully 👌🏾
