I took a little trip to @apricotlanefarms biodynamic farm to admire the abundance of colorful wild zinnias and hand-pick end of season Satsuma Plums (A Japanese plum with dark juicy red flesh) which makes for the most luscious flavor... I vividly remember being little and biting into a juicy red-fleshed plum for the first time and since that moment itโ€™s been a favorite summer fruit of mine... I brought home so many bags full of these little gems so I decided to freeze most of them (sliced and de-pitted first) and create the tastiest smoothie bowl I could ever dream of. Tart but sweet and the ginger adds a killer zesty kick ๐Ÿ’ฅ I donโ€™t remember exact amounts of each fruit but if you want to make something similar I used this combo: (All organic & frozen, if you canโ€™t find frozen, freeze them yourself as I did for the plums and figs!) Stone-Fruit Lover Bowl: ~ Dark Sweet Cherries ~ Satsuma Plums ~ Tiger Figs ~ Strawberries ~ Banana ~ Fresh Ginger ~ Living Spring Water (only a splash to keep the consistency on the thicker side) Aaaaand I topped it up with fresh sliced cherries, plums, figs, strawberries and a generous sprinkle of Bee Pollen ๐ŸŒŸ Satsuma Plums create the most beautiful deep cherry Fuchsia color. Plum color matters not only for the vibrant burst of flavor but for the variety of health benefits they provide. The dark-hued plums contain a rich amount of anthocyanins, a group of powerful antioxidants found in deep red, purple and blue plants which have been known to cleanse inflammation from the body and create radiant skin ๐Ÿงš๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ‡๐Ÿ‘
