[SAVE THIS POST]✨ When it comes to cultivating a healthy relationship with food, there are no rules.
One of the most important things to remember is that you have permission to eat anything you wish, whenever and wherever you like.
Living in a society heavily influenced by diet culture can make it hard to decipher whether your actions are coming from a place of food freedom or fear.
For example, diet culture tells us that the ‘healthy’ choice is to say no to dessert 🙄, but have you ever thought about the fact that food is not just a source of fuel, and that it serves other purposes too? What if it’s a colleagues birthday and they brought in cake for morning tea...would you continuously say no and risk missing out on social connection and building relationships? ... absolutely not! 😢🍰 Sometimes the 'healthier' option may be the opposite of what you thought. 🤔
