Let the holiday season “sparkle” ✨✨ If we are lucky enough to meet someone special in our lifetime, they say, we’ll just know. For nine-year-old Nika, she experienced an instant “sparkle” when she was matched with #ServiceDog Waverly from our friends at @Canineorg earlier this year. Nika lives with hydranencephaly and cerebral palsy, which impacts her mobility. In addition, she experiences extreme anxiety when out in public, which limits her freedom to experience the world around her. Now with Waverly alongside her, every step of the way, she views her surroundings with a new outlook—with more sparkle. As she delivers a huge, beaming smile, Nika and Waverly, together as one team, attend @GirlScoutsusa troop meetings, take trips to the local library and even go shopping—all activities she previously avoided. She is now living her life in-the-moment, knowing that Waverly will always be supporting her, no matter where she is.
