Very excited to finally share these photos I shot for Borshch Magazine featuring Space Afrika. This particular shoot was immensely special to me for several reasons. Firstly, it was an absolute pleasure spending that warm Spring day with Josh, Chloé, Yamur and Mariana. It was one of those days when things just work well on many levels and you establish real connections with people. I’m grateful that my relationship with Josh went beyond this shoot and it’s gradually transforming into a valuable friendship. Secondly, it was my first shoot with the beautiful Borshch magazine in a long time, so I had this feeling of coming home to something that’s so significant and precious to my heart. Can’t avoid mentioning how I love being around Mariana, I never get tired of her humor, wit and keen intelligence. Last, but definitely not least, the music! I’m incapable of properly explaining my emotional connection to this record in this social media post. All I can say is that Honest Labour undoubtedly shifted my perception of beauty and listening in general. This interview by Max Graef Lakin covers many interesting points and elements of Space Afrika’s creative process which makes it even more relatable. I have to mention the other half of the photos for this article shot in Manchester by Tom Mckeans, very cool shots indeed. @borshchmagazine @space_afrika @joshuatarelle @mariana_berezovskiiiii @yamour_ @chloemgde @magraluf @tomckean
