Leaving DC feeling very lucky to be able to share my story with some of our elected officials with the goal to move climate legislation! Especially cool to meet with @senlisamurkowski because Alaska has some interesting issues because of it’s size, so it needs to be a bit of a pioneer in new climate solutions. Alaska Natives also can’t be left behind as the world moves towards more renewable energy sources, and hearing some things that they’re working on gave me hope! Very thankful to @protectourwinters for this opportunity; it really makes me feel like we as an outdoor community can make changes at a high level.
