It’s the big unknown. ⁣ ⁣ @MandanaDayani is doing everything she can to ensure the answer is yes. Dayani is a professional brand strategist who’s channeled her talent for launching new products and businesses into building excitement and around the biggest event of the year: the November election.⁣ ⁣ Dayani conceived of @IamAVoter, the nonpartisan organization, after learning that young people barely participate in elections. “We can make people feel like their lives will change from a new shade of mascara,” she says, “surely we can make people feel excited about voting!” ⁣ ⁣ With @IAmAVoter she has applied the lessons of Hollywood marketing and PR to make voting feel effortless and exciting to a social media generation. Their platform is digital. Users text “voter” to 26797; they get you registered then follow up with texts providing useful information -- like your polling location and early voting windows. This digital push has been especially important during the pandemic when registering in person has been challenging at best.⁣ ⁣ Together with a deep roster of strategists, talent agents, pr and marketing superstars as cofounders and in partnership with the hollywood talent agency @CAA -- @IAmAVoter has enlisted the biggest stars and brands including @theellenshow @kerrywashington @stephencurry30 @sophiabush, @abcnetwork, @Bumble and more to register people by text. ⁣ ⁣ Their work picks up speed this weekend: Sunday will be 100 days until the November 3 election. Research shows there are few more effective ways to drive sign ups than having your friends ask if you’re registered to vote. So look for a new campaign from @IAmAvoter.
