Performance Stage Saturday 27.08 Hosted by self-taught Syrian Dancer & organizer of Berlin's Queens Against Borders(@queensxborders), The Darvish (@thedarvishofficial). For the second night of performances, a group of artists will take you through different healing processes. The Incredible Edible AKYNOS (@akynos) opens the stage, "moving the world with her art while tearing the patriarchy down". After that, we present an experimental performance from P.T.S.D, performance duo from Cameroon/France and South Africa, composed by performance artist Bonono_i (@bonono_i) and contortionist Jade Lee (@jado_flex). They are followed by House of Living Colors (@houseoflivingcolors), an open drag collective from Queer & Trans BIPOC gender performers. Their focus is on community and intersectionality, featuring performances by GodXXX Noirphiles (@godxnoirphiles), Prens Emrah (@prince_emrah_official), Lux Venerea (@bundaskanzlerin), and mandhla (@mandhlandubiwa). We continue the night with "Quietly Yours" an act from by Tsuki (@tim_tsuki), a classical ballet that now creates Full Moon Rituals and Blake (@blake__je), a Cape Town born musician that explores fluidity within their music works. To close the first part of the performance program, a live act from House ov Awakening (@houseovawakening0/): a musical entity, experimenting with poetry and electronic sounds. And then Marshall Vincent (@marshallvincent.flac), Chicago producer creating alternative R&B that is a mix of orchestral, electronic, and soulful folk. Last, but not least, the Kampala (Uganda) collective Anti-Mass (@antimasscollective) will take over the stage to explore the radical potential of nightlife as a means of not only escape, but liberation for marginal identities. Their primary focus is on the emancipatory possibilities within experimental music and the club space. Their goal is to create a space of both questioning & pleasure for queers and femmes in our regressive social context.
