I was so grateful to be having a strong healthy boy, but it also made really nervous. I’m a true girly girl through and through and I wondered if I’d be able to connect with him the way I do with Capri. I even went through a mini identity crisis for a quick second contemplating if I should wear pink anymore. I began questioning myself and wondering if I even knew how to raise a boy. All the typical stereotypes running through my brain. Would I have to fake liking trucks and sports? So silly I know. As soon as he was placed in my arms, every single fear I had was wiped away. I immediately fell head over heels. He truly is the sweetest baby and I can’t believe I ever doubted that we would have a connection.
