Amidst confused excitement, High School and University graduations each saw pivotal shifts in my planned career path. Both times were prompted by the life transitions each milestone afforded. New freedom brings new opportunities. But where does one turn to when life-altering decisions are to be made without the luxury of prior experience to act as one’s guide? External guidance can and should be sought out, with the understanding that it is based on others' uniquely lived experiences. Internal guidance may feel more daunting, especially for an eighteen-something-year-old, but rings that much more true when found. Searching inward provides us with a personal and tangible goal to strive towards, even when the steps to get there are yet to be known. This project aims to celebrate the accomplishments of each young man featured. Both to prompt them to appreciate this fleeting moment and to encourage their newfound freedom towards discovering and pursuing their dreams, whatever they are. A @kickbackconnect photo editorial.
