Today I celebrate a very special personal milestone; I am four years sober. As I reflect back on my journey I can’t help but be extremely grateful for the abundance of blessings the universe has rewarded me with. Every year I choose to share this as a reminder for anyone who needs to hear it... the real work starts by going inward and taking full responsibility of your own happiness. This will be your most noble act of love; self-love. It won’t be an easy quest but through discipline and compassion you will reach a destination of genuine love and liberation. You must shed what no longer serves you in order to move forward into being the highest version of yourself. Just like how the caterpillar transcends into the butterfly, resilience is key.
