We were going through what I didn’t know was going to be the longest lockdown in the world, and you couldn’t see the end. Each day blended into one another, and it seemed pointless to try get anything done because you weren’t able to go out and enjoy or celebrate small accomplishments (I’m a sucker for making any excuse to go out and treat myself). So while we’re still very much in the pandemic, and have no idea what’s going to happen tomorrow, I’m happy to say that I persevered and really did something good with my time. Something that I’m proud of. What started because of COVID, ironically ended with my having COVID... so it really does come full circle 🤷🏻‍♀️🤧 This launch collection celebrates the happiness that’s often associated with summer. It’s fun, bold, yet somewhat nostalgic with its prints and silhouettes. I hope people are able to feel confident in my swim, and can step out into the world as they did 2 years ago when the most they had to fear was that Melbourne’s weather wouldn’t change by the time they got to the beach. This is only the beginning, there’s so much cool stuff to come if this is all a success. But I thank you all for reading, and being a part of this journey with me. I really do take in everything around me to inspire my designs and the brands aesthetic (which will change each season 😉).
